Dispatch Log From Jan. 29 to Feb. 2, 2010
Friday
9:13am – A female resident of Murray Hill called in about her missing dog from her property. The caller later found the dog without incident.

9:47am - The burglar alarm was falsely set off at 55 Wildwood Road.
9:58am – The homeowner at 382 Heathcote Road called in to report the smell of natural gas in house. Scarsdale Fire Department and Con Ed arrived on the scene as well. There was no further police assistance needed.

11:32am – An auto accident reported at 937 Post Road and 174 Boulevard; injuries unknown at this time.
12:04pm - The burglar alarm was falsely set off at 30 Vernon Road.
12:35pm – A caller witnessed a vehicle leaved the 7-11 parking lot suspiciously fast and run a red light while headed west bound on Ardsley Road. Patrol checked with cashier at 7-11 to find everything was in order and that there was no suspicious activity that had occurred.
12:51pm – The resident of 77 Carmen Road reported a suspicious white male wearing a "Giants Hat" staring at her house. The patrol was unable to find any suspicious subject's matching that description in the area.
12:56pm – A resident of Walworth Ave reported a case of identity theft as her credit card was being accessed without her permission.
1:03pm – A local resident called in and advised that another student was harassing her daughter on the school bus. Further details to come.
5:33pm – A caller phoned in suspicious activity about a male sitting in a white van outside her home at 22 Wayside Lane. Patrol responded and found the vehicle and operator had legitimate business in the area and no further response was needed.
6:21pm – An auto accident reported at 30 Spencer Place and 12 East Parkway. No injuries were reported.
6:29pm - The burglar alarm was falsely set off at 6 Thornwood Place by what was apparently Mylar Balloons.
9:18pm – A caller reported youths throwing rocks at vehicles alongside Drake. A patrol canvass of the area turned up negative.
Saturday
10:45am – There was a report of larceny at Quaker Ridge School as apparently two violins were stolen.
11:56am – A caller at 5 Crawford Lane complained of a wounded deer in his backyard. Upon arriving patrol found three deer running through the woods and no further assistance was needed.
12:49pm – A caller from 28 Sage Terrace reported a vehicle parked that was parked illegally on his property damaged his car. The owner of the illegally parked vehicle stated that though he was parked there that he did not damage the complainant's car. The complainant admitted to boxing in the other vehicle with his other car so that he could not leave. There was no damage to the complainant's car matching the descriptions of the damage reported. Patrol was unable to further determine who was at fault, and the two parties agreed to settle this themselves.
1:26pm – A patrol office noticed the front door open at 1 Woolworth Avenue. The homeowner stated that she left the door open for extra sun and that everything was in good order.
1:58pm – Two vehicles collided at Post Road and Fennimore Road. Both parties agreed to not have a police accident report generated and they will repair the damages themselves.
4:20pm – A citation was issued after a caller reported vehicles obstructing traffic in a clearly marked no standing zone.
5:21pm – A caller stated that two suspicious females exited a SUV and hid a suitcase under a tree in the park across from Aspen Road and then proceeded to leave the area. Although patrol recovered two bags of broken bottles in the bushes, they did not find the two youths in the area.
6:26pm – Dispatch received a 911 call in which no caller was on the line and in the background they could hear arguing between the resident and her autistic son. Patrol was advised that the call was prompted when her son become upset and aggressive over a misunderstanding, though once patrol arrived, the son took his medication cordially and no further assistance was needed.
Sunday
10:33am – A report came in from a Dobbs Ferry Detective that a woman by the name of Amy Tulevech, age 47, described as heavy set was missing for the past two days with her two children; an 11 year old son and a 7 year old girl. The mother has a history of psych problems. Patrol was able to run the plates of the mother's car and they found a photo match from 1 day before she went missing. Patrol will continue to canvass the area.
1:12pm – Patrol responded to a 911 call made in error by the homeowner.
1:42pm – Patrol received a tip about youths skating on an unsafe duck pond. Patrol responded and warned the group (mixed adults and children) about skating at their own risk.
2:22pm - The burglar alarm was falsely set off at 10 Walworth Avenue by what was most likely the dog.
2:56pm – A caller reported a hazardous sheet of ice in the area. Upon arrival patrol found a large sheet of ice at Norma Place and Coralyn Road, which was most likely the result of a water main break at 8 Coralyn Road. The proper Highway and Water Department Personnel were notified.
3:01pm – Homeowner at 6 Dolma Road called 911 when she found her garage door open upon arriving home. The homeowner was later able to contact her son, who verified that he had accidently left it open. No further police assistance was required.
3:43pm – An employee at L F Sportswear phoned in about suspicious activity after a group of female black women, aged late teens to early twenties, had spent several minutes in the store with open bags and not purchasing any items. The females were suspicious to the employee do to the fact that recently a similar scenario had resulted in shoplifting. Upon arrival of the patrol, the females were not observed stealing and left in a vehicle registered in Connecticut.
10:18pm – A caller phoned in about a suspicious small red car parked for an extended period of time. Patrol found the vehicle occupied by a young couple that was talking. They left without incident.
Monday
8:00am – A call came in to assist emergency services in transporting a 39 year old male who had sustained a head injury.
12:37pm – There was a report of a vehicle parked with a door left ajar. Patrol found no evidence of tampering and attempted to contact the registered owner before securing the vehicle.
7:55pm - A local resident walked in to police dispatch to report the apparent loss of his house and car keys. According to police, the man changed the series of events in his interview several times and went into personal details not related to the incident. The man also stated that he was in an auto accident in White Plains last Friday, though he could not give the exact time. The last the man remembers seeing the keys was while admitted to White Plains Hospital. The reporting officer suggested that he contact the White Plains Police Department and Hospital.
9:13pm – A caller phoned in about two men in a verbal argument near Popham Road and Depot, one in a black, and the other in a blue vehicle. Patrol did not find the vehicles after canvassing the area.
Tuesday
2:13am – An elderly female caller at 32 Secor Road stated that she needed assistance and that she may possibly be in the cellar. Later the son of caller stated that the woman had dialed in error.
7:58am – There was a call-in report of an auto accident with no one injured. Patrol checked the area for the vehicles with negative results.
