Police: Queens Man Accused In Scarsdale Assault
Casey J. Bennett, 33, was charged with criminal trespass, criminal mischief and harassment after he reportedly forced his way into a Scarsdale resident's home and assaulted him.

Scarsdale Police arrested a male Queens resident last Sunday morning after he was accused of forcing his way into a Village resident's home and assaulting him.
Casey J. Bennett, 33, was charged with criminal trespass, criminal mischief and harassment following a taxi driver's phone call at 6:43 a.m. stating that he had dropped an "undesirable" off at an Old Lyme Road home and had witnessed Bennett banging on the front door, demanding to be let in.
Patrol arrived and found Bennett in the lawn and the homeowner on his neighbor's property. According to police, the two men had known each other for approximately 6 years, and the Scarsdale resident had given Bennett money for medicine. The two were scheduled to meet at a Bronx subway at 1:30 a.m. that morning so Bennett could receive more funds, but the Queens resident hadn't shown up. Over five hours later, Bennett came to Scarsdale, forced his way into the home and assaulted the resident.
