Road Rage Incident Leads To Stabbing Death On Taconic
After being stabbed, victim went back to his car and his passenger started driving him to the hospital.

HARTSDALE, NY — A Dutchess County man is under arrest for allegedly stabbing a motorist to death on the Taconic in a road rage incident. State Police said Christian A. Walczyk, 21, of Pleasant Valley, Dutchess County, was charged with first-degree manslaughter, a felony. Police said they were called to a reported stabbing on the Taconic State Parkway around 10:30 p.m. May 27 in the Town of Mount Pleasant.
When they arrived, they found Daniel Siino, 28, of Hartsdale, in a vehicle with stab wounds.
The investigation discovered the victim had engaged in a road rage incident with Walczyk which turned physical.

Police said Walczyk stabbed Siino in the chest.

Siino returned to his car and his passenger began driving him to the hospital while calling 911.
EMS and State Police located and rendered aid to Siino who was taken to Westchester Medical Center where he died of his injuries.
Walczyk, who had left the scene and called 911, was found nearby and taken into custody without incident.
He was arraigned and sent to the Westchester County Jail without bail.

The State Police were assisted in the investigation by the Town of Mount Pleasant Police Department, the Village of Briarcliff Manor Police Department and the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office.
