Scarsdale Art Association Holding Travel Journal Workshop
The SAA is holding the demo on May 20.

The Scarsdale Art Association will present a demo on the increasingly popular concept of an artist’s travel journal on Sunday, May 20. The workshop will be held at the Leahey Gallery of the on Wayside Lane in Scarsdale at 2:00 p.m. Sunday.
“The travel journal provides another opportunity for artists to enjoy their talent even when travelling," SAA President Gina Thorne said. "It’s a way to bring home memories beyond what your camera alone can give you. The sketches often become the basis for future work to be done later in the studio."
"During the demo, we’ll show examples of such work as well as the kind of materials that are easy to carry and fun to use," Thorne said.
