Scarsdale Driver Arrested on Southern State Parkway for DWI
Martin Saez, 31, was arrested yesterday by New York State police for alleged DWI while speeding on the Southern State Parkway.

Scarsdale resident Martin Saez, 31, was arrested yesterday by New York State police for DWI and traffic violations while speeding on the Southern State Parkway.
A state trooper stopped Saez, who was operating a gray Honda Civic, for speeding 79 miles per hour while eastbound traveling in a 55 mile per hour zone near exit 24 (Merrick Avenue). Additionally, Saez's vehicle had nearly struck an eastbound motorist after a passenger threw a tennis ball out of the vehicle, hitting the other car.
Saez failed sobriety tests and was arrested after the state trooper detected an alcohol level of .10 percent alcohol on his breath. Saez is scheduled to appear in Nassau County 1st District Court on August 17.
