According to information disclosed in open court, Younger filed both personal tax returns and corporate returns on behalf of David S. Younger MD PC, a professional corporation.
During 2007 and 2008, Younger used corporate funds to pay personal expenses and falsely deducted them from the corporate returns as medical supplies, office expenses and professional fees.
He also omitted the personal expenses on his personal tax returns.
Among the personal expenses categorized falsely as business expenses were $100,000 for golf and country club fees, about $53,000 in property taxes for his residence, a $4,300 placement fee for a nanny/housekeeper and $345 for a Mickey Mantle baseball card.
Other falsely claimed expenses included furniture, construction work, airfare and restoration of a piano.
