Scarsdale Police Arrest Housekeeper In Connection With Thefts From Home
The Scarsdale Police arrested a New Rochelle woman on June 4 in connection with a Scarsdale theft.

"An investigation and interviews by Scarsdale Police Detective Brendan Kellaher resulted in the June 4 arrest of 47-year-old Jeanne Quigley of White Oak Street in New Rochelle," Det. Lt. Thomas Altizio said in a press release issued today.
According to the SPD incident report, the Scarsdale couple reported to SPD on May 30 that their former nanny/household assistant was caught on hidden camera stealing a suitcase worth $100, $120 in cash from a wallet, a $1,500 platinum wedding ring and a sterling silver comb and brush set.

"Quigley was charged with Grand Larceny 4th degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree, both class E Felonies," he stated.
Altizio said that after the couple confronted the housekeeper "about the thefts, some property was returned and the housekeeper was terminated."

SPD also recovered other stolen items during the course of the investigation, according to the release.
Quigley, released on pre‐arraignment bail, is scheduled to appear in Scarsdale Justice Court on June 6.
