january 16, 2012
11:27 a.m. -- A Johnson Road resident reported to dispatch after they received notice that a check they had written for payment to card services in the amount of $40 was altered to read $234.22 and had never reached its destination.
11:51 p.m. -- Two vehicles were reportedly engaging in reckless driving and performing 360-degree turns in the parking lot of Trinity Lutheran Church. The cars were gone upon patrol's arrival.

Wednesday, Jan. 18
9:09 a.m. -- An Olmsted Road resident reported fraudulent charges on their account.

Thursday, Jan. 19
9:30 p.m. -- Tools were reported stolen from inside a Park Road construction project.
Friday, Jan 20
1:26 p.m. -- A caller from Overhill Road reported that someone backed into his vehicle and caused minor caused damage.
3:51 p.m. -- A Ridgecrest West resident called police after he received notification from World Financial Network Bank stating that irregular transactions adding up to $1,500 had appeared on two of his credit cards. A third card had also had two fraudulent names added to it.
4:17 p.m. -- A Reimer Road resident had $9,000 removed from his Bank of America checking account over two days, with transfers being made to accounts set up in his name with his own personal information.
Saturday, Jan. 21
1:46 a.m. -- Police received a noise complaint from Fox Meadow Tennis Court. An adult gathering with music was occuring at the time, and all involved parties agreed to turn off the music to avoid further violations.
Monday, Jan. 23
8:03 a.m. -- A Swarthmore Road family reported that three family cars, including a gray 2007 Honda, had their tires slashed.
10:14 a.m. -- A Chappaqua resident's iPad was reported stolen from Popham Road Garage after she left it on an air conditioning unit for five minutes and returned to find it missing. The iPad was protected by a brown and gold Michael Kors case and is valued at $1,100. Two garage employees were present at the time, and both told police that there had been only three or four customers present at the time, none whom had left with an iPad. Police are continuing the investigation.
10:16 p.m. -- A Park Road resident told police that four copper leaders from a gutter drainage system valued at approximately $750 had been stolen. Police canvassed the premises and found two sets of footprints in the snow, as well as two leaders missing from the home's front, one from the rear and one from the north side.
Wednesday, Jan. 25
4:43 p.m. -- Callers from Harwood Court told police that a male and female were knocking on apartment doors and refusing to leave the complex. Police arrived after the individuals had left the premises.
5:02 p.m. -- A bicycle was stolen from a Meadow Road backyard.
