9:28 p.m. — Police arrested three individuals for unlawful possession of marijuana while parked in front of a River Road residence. Patrol responded to reports of a car parked for a prolonged period of time and witnessed a member of the party throw a small object from the vehicle. Smoke was obserbed leaking through the vehicle, and police could smell burning marijuana. Athough two members of the party denied smoking or possessing marijuana, they changed their story after further questioning to state that only one party, the individual who had tossed the cigarette from the vehicle, was engaging in any illegal activity. An inspection of the car yielded two glassine bags, one containing a portion of antidepressant Alprazolam and the other holding a green leafy substance. A marijuana clip was also found in the back seat. Both parties admitted to having smoked marijuana in the area and "finishing off the clip" on River Road. All parties were transported to police headquarters. Two were proccessed, brought to Village Court and released on $180 bail. The third passenger had not been involved in the drug use and was released.
