Scarsdale Police Log: Identity Theft, Missing Bracelets, Damaged Lights

A Secor Road resident reported a jewelry theft to on June 2. The resident told police that $2,500 worth of yellow gold and silver bracelets were missing from her home. According to an SPD report, the resident and her family were away during spring break and contracted workers had access to her home. She filed a report with her insurance company.

Scarsdale Police are investigating a report of identity theft. A Greenacres Ave resident told SPD on June 2 that an unknown suspect used his American Express card, charging $250 worth of items online.

A White Plains man had his car scratched up while parked at the Metro Diner parking lot. According to the SPD report, on May 28, the man was involved in a verbal disgreement with another man, who then scratched his car with a key.

Police responded to a report of criminal mischief on Cooper Road on May 29. A Scarsdale resident told SPD that her entrance light/lamp, worth $375, had been damaged overnight. According to the SPD report, the resident had four lamps damaged about a month ago.
