Scarsdale Police Log: Stolen Jewelry, Packages And Patio Chairs, And A Dog Bite

Thursday, March 22
4:51 p.m. Police responded to a report of a larceny on Rodney Road. The homeowner reported that two patio chairs, valued at $35, were allegedly stolen from her front yard patio. There are no suspects at this time.

2:30 p.m. Police responded to a report of a larceny on Richelieu Road. The homeowner reported a Fed-Ex package containing clothing she had ordered from a department store was stolen from her front door step. The resident contacted Fed-Ex and the department store.
5:28 p.m. Police responded to a report of a postal employee being bitten by a dog, receiving a minor injury. A mail carrier said he was bitten while delivering mail to a Brewster Road home. Police completed a report.

Saturday, March 24
8:03 p.m. Police responded to a report of a past burglary on Dickel Road. Police said the alleged victim noticed an open jewelry draw after returning home. The resident noticed three boxes of jewelry missing along with an Apple computer. Police responded and processed the scene. The incident is under investigation.
