A four-question survey can be answered on line.

As a result, the village board of trustees has asked the council to look into a formal policy regarding this and other solar installation considerations.
Fischman said that since solar panels facing the street is am esthetic question, the council has created a short survey seeking public input.

“This is a great example of resident input making its way directly into government decision-making,” he said.
“For residents, the bottom line is that if you're horrified by the idea that solar panels might not be permitted on a house, you'd best respond to this survey. On the other hand, if you're horrified by the idea of solar panels mounted on front of Scardale homes, you'd also do well to respond to this survey,” Fischman said.
The survey contains only four questions, as well as a place to put an additional comment, and can be access by clicking here or via the “Solar Central” section of the CAC’s page here.
Besides the survey, there is also a solar map in which you can calculate a home’s solar generating potential.
