Scarsdale Stabbing Murder Suspect Pleads Not Guilty

Court documents detail comments he made to the police after his arrest.

SCARSDALE, NY - The financial expert who is accused of stabbing his doctor wife to death in Scarsdale pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Tuesday.

Julius Reich, 62, faces a felony second-degree murder charge and a misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon charge, according to FIOS1News.com.

The Journal News said Reich, after he had allegedly killed his wife while she was in the shower, called 911 and invited police into the home, telling them where her body could be found.

In a release from the Westchester County District Attorney’s office, Reich allegedly ambushed his wife January 20 between 8 a.m. and 10:10 a.m., stabbing her 22 times.

The couple was getting a divorce but still lived together.

Goldman was 58 years old and a pediatrician in the Montefiore Health System, the Journal News said.
