Scarsdale Trustees OK $9.9M Library Bond Resolution

The village had considered putting up a voter referendum for the public to weigh in.

SCARSDALE, NY — Scarsdale village trustees approved a $9.9 million bond resolution that will fund — partially — renovations to the library.

The board had initially considered a public referendum for the project, but it decided at the Dec. 13 meeting to vote down letting the voters have a say, according to lohud.com.

The entire renovation will cost $18 million, of which less than half will come from private donations.
