Scarsdale's Paulin Introduces 'Aid-in-Dying' Bill

The bill is sponsored in the Senate by Sen. John Bonacic.

A bill that would allow terminally ill adults to choose the time and place of their deaths was introduced by Assemblywoman Amy Paulin, D-Scarsdale.

The “aid-in-dying” bill was sponsored in the Senate by Sen. John Bonacic, R-Mount Hope, according to an article in the Legislative Gazette.

Paulin is quoted in the article from a press conference she gave recently saying if she was terminally ill, she should be able to “choose to end my life calmly, peacefully and in a dignified way … where I am surrounded by those I love.”
