Tech Talks in Military Park debuts tonight
New program will engage local residents, office workers, and students in discussions on technology

If you’re a techie in New Jersey circle Monday’s on your calendars.
Tech Talks in Military Park, a new program, will debut tonight and every Monday through October 3rd at 6 PM in the Military Park Reading Room
The Military Park Partnership and the Newark's Office of Information Technology are launching the program with the goal of engaging local residents, office workers, and students in discussions on technology.
Each week, there will be different panelists from large tech companies and small startup organizations speaking about the changing tech world in Newark including: Panasonic, Audible, GNEC, Wickr, Code for Newark, Currant, NJIT, NJII, Google Women Techmakers, Phone.com, and Newark Venture Partners.
After the panel, there will be demonstrations of new tech devices ranging from a Tesla to a messaging app with free giveaways included!
The end of the program will be dedicated to networking time so that Newarkers in the tech community can meet each other and socialize over drinks at the outdoor bar at Burg in Military Park.
