Another busy weekend in local sports saw both Edgemont and Scarsdale fall on the gridiron. The Edgemont boy’s soccer team also lost on the road but the Scarsdale girls did well as both the soccer and field hockey teams won.

Game: Edgemont @ Pelham
Score: Edgemont Lost 2-0
Highlights: James Edwards led the Pelicans to victory as he found the back of the net twice against Edgemont. Luke Szendiuch had seven saves in the win while Jon Adorno had four in the loss.

Game: Our Lady of Lourdes @ Edgemont
Score: Edgemont Lost 14-10
Highlights: Our Lady of Lourdes took the long drive down to defeat Edgemont. This is the forth straight loss for the panthers, as they now fall to 2-4.

Game: Scarsdale @ New Rochelle
Score: Scarsdale 33-13
Highlights: The Huguenots improved to 5-1 with a convincing victory against Scarsdale Friday night under the lights at New Rochelle High School. Khalil Edney Had 2 touchdowns in the air and another on the ground in the vitory.
Sport: Field Hockey
Game: Ursuline @ Scarsdale
Score: Scarsdale Won 5-0
Highlights: Scarsdale’s Caroline Knapp had two goals in the victory as Katie Colella. Maya Pochiraju and Victoria Green each added one. In the loss Danielle Fucci had six saves.
Sport: Girl’s Soccer
Game: Scarsdale @ White Plains
Score: Scarsdale Won 2-0
Highlights: Goalie Allie Chaves led the Raider defense as her six saves shut out White Plains. Charlotte Miller and Kate Hennessy had goals for Scarsdale in the win.

In boy’s soccer, Scarsdale will host the Quakers of Horace Greeley at 4:30.
In field hockey, Suffern heads to Scarsdale for a 4:30 game.
In field hockey, Pelham heads to Edgemont for a 4:15 showdown.
In girl’s soccer, Edgemont will head Lincoln for a 4:30 matchup.
In volleyball, Saunders will host Edgemont at 4:15.
