Westchester Knicks Help Unload Turkeys Donated By Stop & Shop

Westchester Knicks players help unload 1000 turkeys donated by Stop & Shop as Feeding Westchester provides to families for Thanksgiving.

Members of the Westchester Knicks helped unload 1000 Turkeys that Stop & Shop donated to Feeding Westchester as part of Stop & Shop's annual Turkey Express program which will deliver more than 18,000 turkeys to hunger relief organizations in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island this holiday season.

"The work of Feeding Westchester has never been more important and Stop & Shop's commitment to fighting hunger has never been stronger, said Bob Yager, Stop & Shop's Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations. "We know that food insecurity remains a challenge in every community. Stop & Shop is proud to support Feeding Westchester's efforts to deliver hundreds of thousands of meals to our neighbors who need them the most."

The Westchester Knicks players and Stop & Shop volunteers were joined by Stop & Shop's Marty the Robot, which was created by Badger Technologies and is familiar to shoppers across Westchester.
