Critical Mass Improv - Skunkworks (Improv Comedy)

Skunkworks is slang for a small, highly autonomous group of people given the freedom to work on secret, disruptive, or heavily accelerated projects without standard corporate bureaucracy.

Our theatre hosts other highly talented improvisors working on a host of great and new improv formats and shows. We let them cook and out pops great and wonderful improv we’ve never seen.

Critical Mass is a new improv group composed of current and former Mopco students. Their show is highly based on LNI (Quebec National Improv). There are two teams plus a ref. Each round is based on a card the ref pulls from a deck. The teams then each respond to the prompt, competing for a point.

Prompts might involve time, music, or playing with audience suggestions. The crowd votes for the team they liked more.
