
New York Festival of Song (NYFOS) brings baritone Theo Hoffman back to Orient, NY for a program of songs by Gershwin, Guastavino, Bernstein, the Beatles, and Sondheim in Poquatuck Hall. Hoffman’s recent album on NYFOS Records, Schubert/Beatles, was nominated for a Grammy; his opera and concert appearances have garnered rave reviews around the world. This concert celebrates the 14th anniversary of his collaboration with pianist Steven Blier, one of his early mentors and now a cherished colleague. Blier, the founder of NYFOS and longtime summer denizen of Orient, has been presenting annual concerts at Poquatuck Hall every August for over a decade. Tickets ($25) available on Eventbrite.
