7 Injured In Suffolk Crash
A man drove through a stop sign and struck a vehicle Thursday night, police say.

MASTIC, NY — Seven people were injured in a two-car crash in Suffolk County Thursday night, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police, a man driving a 1997 Honda south on Sterling Place in Mastic blew a stop sign and struck a 2002 Honda that was heading west on Montauk Highway at 6:15 p.m.
Three of the five people in the 2002 Honda and all four people in the 1997 Honda were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The driver of the 1997 Honda, who police did not name, was given four summonses, according to a Suffolk Police spokesperson.
