Bullet Hole, Shell Casings Found In Mastic Beach Home: Suffolk PD

MASTIC BEACH, NY — Evidence of a shooting — a bullet hole and shell casings — were found inside of a house on Babylon Road in Mastic Beach just before noon on Tuesday, Suffolk County police said.

“The circumstances surrounding the shooting, including when it took place, are under investigation,” police said in a statement to Patch. Police did not release any further details.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call Crime Stoppers, a confidential police hotline, 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain anonymous.
