Man Found Dead In Car In Shirley: Suffolk Police

SHIRLEY, NY — A man was found dead in a car in Shirley on Sunday night, Suffolk County police said.

Homicide Squad detectives responded to the intersection of Ashwood Drive and Robinwood Drive East just after 6 p.m., a police spokeswoman said. The cause of death is believed to be “non-criminal,” she said.

The man’s identity, as well as any other details, were not released, which is a standard procedure involving deaths that are not related to a crime.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
