THE GREAT GIVE BACK 2021
The Great Give Back is a countywide community service initiative that takes place every October. Join our library in giving back to our community this month through two events.
Great Give Back Food Drive
Friday, October 1 to Sunday, October 31
Please donate non-expired, nonperishable food to replenish a local food pantry. Collection bins are located throughout the library.
Great Halloween Costume Swap
Costume Donation Drop-off: 10/1-10/15
Costume Swap: Saturday, 10/16, early bird entry @ 10:00 AM-12:00 PM; open to all @ 12:00-2:00 PM
Donate clean, gently used costumes (all sizes welcome) to get a ticket to swap for a “new to you” costume, during early bird swapping hours on 10/16.
Don’t need a costume? You’re welcome to donate without an obligation to exchange.
Don’t have a costume to swap? Come in on 10/16 from 12:00-2:00 PM to pick one out after ticket holders have swapped. While supplies last.

American Dirt Book Discussion

American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins, is a story following Lydia, a bookstore owner, who flees Acapulco for America, with her young son, after a drug cartel violently attacks a quinceañera she's attending, killing her journalist husband.
