Motorcyclist Injured, Wife Seriously Hurt In LI Crash
The crash took place Friday night; the motorcyclist's wife was airlifted with serious injuries, police say.
MASTIC, NY — A motorcyclist and his wife were seriously injured in a Mastic crash Friday night, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, the crash took place on Titmus Drive near Ardmour Drive at 9:54 p.m. Justino Lopez, 43, of Mastic, was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle and heading north on Titmus Drive when he lost control of the motorcycle near Ardmour Drive and crashed.
Danielle Lopez, 35, of Mastic, the passenger, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries; Justino was transported to the same hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.

No charges were filed, police said.
