Motorcylist Airlifted After Shirley Crash: Cops
He ran over uneven pavement and crashed, police said.

SHIRLEY, NY — A motorcyclist was injured in a Shirley crash Thursday night, police said.
Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct officers responded to a 911 report of a motorcycle crash in Shirley; the driver was operating a motorcycle on Smith Road, off Northern Boulevard, when he ran over uneven pavement and crashed at 11:05 p.m., police said.
The man was airlifted by Suffolk County Police aviation to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, police said.
