Pedestrian Struck By Car, Seriously Injured In Shirley
No charges were filed in the crash, police said.
SHIRLEY, NY — A pedestrian was seriously injured in a Shirley crash Monday night, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police, Daniel Quigley, 33, of Shirley, was walking west across the William Floyd Parkway on the Route 27 overpass at 10:50 p.m. when he was struck by a southbound 2009 Toyota Camry.
Quigley was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries; the driver of the Camry, Andre Seura, 45, of Shirley was not injured, police said.

The Camry was impounded for a safety check. No charges were filed, police said.
