Shirley Man Charged With DWI On North Fork: Police
He was stopped for failure to maintain his lane, police say.

SHIRLEY, NY — A Shirley man was charged with driving while intoxicated in Cutchogue Sunday, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, the incident took place at 7:13 p.m. on Route 48 when Isaias Perez-Zacarias, 47, was arrested and charged with DWI, first offense; aggravated DWI: per se, no prior; failing to keep right and driving without a license.
Southold police said they received a report regarding the driver of a blue 2005 Cadillac CTS four-door sedan heading east on County Road 48 and failing to maintain his lane of travel. An officer located the vehicle in question and observed Perez-Zacarias failing to maintain his lane, police said. The officer stopped the vehicle on County Road 48, just east of Depot Lane; Perez-Zacarias was found to be intoxicated at the scene after failing several sobriety tests, police said.

Perez-Zacarias was arrested, charged with DWI, transported to police headquarters for processing, and held overnight for morning arraignment, police said.
