Here's a snapshot of some recent arrests that Suffolk County police officers made in the last week.

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — All of the following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department.

First Precinct

- DEC. 15: Umar Abdullataif, 30, of Wyandanch was arrested in Wyandanch and was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Abbullatif had a loaded gun, according to the charge. He was additionally charged with five counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
- DEC. 14: Juanjoseuruy Marroquin, 20, of Wyandanch was arrested in Wyandanch and was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Marroquin had a loaded gun, according to the charge.
- DEC. 13: Victor Johnson, 55, of Copiague was arrested in Copiague and was charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
Second Precinct
- DEC. 14: Shamiqwa Dixon, 20, of Bellport was arrested in Huntington and was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny for stealing property. Dixon stole property worth over $1,00o, according to the charge.
- DEC. 10: Luis Gonzalez, 33, of Farmingville was arrested in Dix Hills and was charged with driving while intoxicated. Gonzalez was previously convicted of DWI within the last 10 years, according to the charge.

- DEC. 15: Jose Velasquezmoreno, 32, of Brentwood was arrested in Brentwood and was charged with first-degree robbery and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- DEC. 14: Kevin Cerny, 35, of Commack was arrested in Bay Shore and was charged with two counts of third-degree sexual abuse.
- DEC. 14: Jose Pedro Alvarado, 33, of Brentwood was arrested in Central Islip and was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. Alvarado stole property with over $1,000, according to the charge.
Fourth Precinct
- DEC. 14: Jean Baptiste, 35, of Ronkonkoma was arrested in Ronkonkoma and was charged with multiple counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was additionally charged with second-degree conspiracy and first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- DEC. 11: Andrew Popkin, 33, of Commack was arrested in Smithtown and was charged with first-degree sexual abuse and forcible touching.
Fifth Precinct
- DEC. 15: Diljot Janjua, 25, of Medford was arrested in Medford and was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon for having a loaded gun, according to the charge. Janjua was additionally charged with reckless driving.
- DEC. 14: Oscar Aguilar, 61, of Brentwood was arrested in Sayville and was charged with sexual conduct against a child and child endangerment.
- DEC. 14: Jean Baptiste, 35, of Ronkonkoma was arrested in Patchogue and was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Baptiste had a stolen gun, according to the charge.
Sixth Precinct
- DEC. 15: Joevon Burgess, 32, of Coram was arrested in Coram and was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- DEC. 14: A 16-year-old male from Rocky Point was arrested in Port Jefferson and was charged with two counts of first-degree rape.
- DEC. 11: Travis Johnston, 38, of Yaphank was arrested in Port Jefferson Station and was charged with second-degree burglary.
Seventh Precinct
- DEC. 15: David James Bellassai, 28, of Massapequa was arrested in Massapequa and was charged with third-degree rape. A child under 17 was involved, according to the charge.
- DEC. 13: Eduardo Rojasmendoza, 20, of Deer Park was arrested in Riverhead and was charged with second-degree rape. A child under 15 was involved, according to the charge.
- DEC. 10: Darren Argento, 51, of Huntington Station was arrested in Shirley and was charged with violating the sex offender registry act.
