William Floyd Medical Club Donates To Stony Brook Children's
The student club raised $1,235, nearly matching their previous three-year total.

The William Floyd High School Medical Club under the direction of science educator Terri Randall has, for the fourth consecutive year, made a sizable donation to the Child Life Department at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital to help support the great work that they conduct each and every day through therapeutic, educational and recreational activities for children during their hospital stays.

This year, through a mix of online and in-person collections, the Medical Club raised $1,235, nearly matching their previous three-year total. Over the past four years, the Medical Club has raised and donated $2,905 to support the Child Life Department’s mission. Ms. Randall and members of the Medical Club recently met via Zoom for the ceremonial check presentation and to learn more about the Child Life Department from guest speaker Michael Attard.
