• 22nd annual bicontinental 5K run (tbrnewsmedia.com) — Shoreham residents and Mayor Tom Spier recently joined about 20 participants at Saint Anselm’s Episcopal Church for the 22nd annual Hope Children’s Fund bicontinental 5K along the North Shore Rail Trail. Their run, paired with a simultaneous 5K in Meru, Kenya, raised thousands of dollars to support education, food, and medical care for orphans at the Jerusha Mwiraria Hope Children’s Home.
