2 Long Island Stores Make List of '12 Charming General Stores in New York Will Make You Feel Nostalgic'

Two Long Island stores have made a just released list from OnlyInYourState.com entitled "These 12 Charming General Stores In New York Will Make You Feel Nostalgic."

St. James General Store located at 516 Moriches Road in St. James is among those on the list. "New York's oldest general store, it doesn't get much more nostalgic than this!," OnlyInYourState says. "Operating since 1857, the charming general store is now on the National Register of Historic Places."

The other Long Island store on the list: The General Store at The Milleridge Inn located at 585 North Broadway in Jericho.
