2 Women Steal Over $1,500 Worth Of Sunglasses: SCPD

LAKE GROVE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are seeking the public's help in finding the two women who stole items from a Lake Grove store in July, police said.

The duo stole nine sunglasses from LensCrafters, located at 3270 Middle Country Road, on July 2, at 1:35 p.m., police said. The sunglasses had a value of $1567. The women are wanted on charges of grand larceny, police said.

Police ask anyone with information about the theft to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
