Accompsett Middle School students presented Disney’s “The Lion King Jr.” from April 1-2. The cast of sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders spent many months rehearsing lines, choreography and vocal harmonies (both in English and Swahili).
Accompsett Middle School’s fine arts teacher Ron Concessi said, “In all the time I’ve been working on these productions, I’ve never seen a group of students with such talent and spirit, combined with incredible support from parents. It’s easy to forget these kids are only in middle school.”
