Are you looking for a new book to read to your toddler?

Reading aloud to young children is one of the best activities to stimulate language and cognitive skill.  It is fun to involve your toddler as you read together, by asking simple questions you are helping your child build motivation, curiosity and memory.  Toddlers enjoy books not only for their images, but also for the repetitive text and rhymes.  Lift-the-flap books are engaging for this age because the children are developing their dexterity as well as their enjoyment of anticipation.  Sharing the joy of books with toddlers is a great way to lay the foundation for a love of reading. Take a look at the following board books that have just arrived.  If you would like to request one please give us a call at 631-360-2480 or request one here.
