69. Poetry

Poetry
And Classical Music are mysteries
To most listeners.

“Poetry Reading”
Are two words that make the masses shudder;
I can relate.

Poets reading poetry
Have a hard time delivering the words,
Believably, that they, themselves, wrote.

Most Composers know they can’t perform.
I wish Poets would realize that, too.
Let Interpreters do the interpreting.

When one attends a reading,
One should be swept away by images
Stretching one’s thought processes with words.

A concert evolves
Feelings without the need for spoken words.
Listeners are creators.

Special Arts
Require a listening Audience.
They need to be felt.

70. Greediness

Greediness
Has to be one of the worst traits to have.
This does not amuse.

Grabbing attention
In a group of People is a folly
That gains no respect at all.

Stinginess, too, has no place,
Yet, holds tight to the brains of the greedy
Who never have enough to live on.

They are societal complainers.
In their World, they are right and All are wrong.
They make Life difficult for the rest of us.

There are never solutions.
Solving prevents reasons to complain.
New problems are thought up to be solved.

Problems create greed.
Greed creates a myriad of problems.
This cycle is ongoing.

Complaining
Does not solve any important issues.
The greedy complain.
