JWG's Necessity June 22, 2012
Wherein JWG asks: Will our Supreme Court attempt to throw the archaic shackles on Us in the US?

It has become routine, in June, awaiting our Supreme Court to make known its decisions. Our laws can be defined by those made in the Eighteenth and Nineteenth centuries with no regard to our lives in the Twenty-first century. This is a double-edged sword — both good and bad. Technology is at the base of many of the Court’s cases. As We progress as a Nation, will the Court accompany Us? Or, will it attempt to throw the archaic shackles on Us in the US? The court we have today does not have my Trust. It will be interesting to hear what is decided. As a Citizen who happens to have been born gay, I am ready to be vocal about my feelings — my Rights — my Love. I have done no wrong. Wrongs done to me by archaic laws made by men must not be allowed. Fortunately, many of my fellow-Citizens are beginning to come to a staunch realization that this Country’s laws exclude many who only wish to be able to pursue Happiness. This pursuit must not be denied.
