JWG's Necessity May 31, 2012

Many of my Friends are good people. Many are ignorant. Specifically, politically, I am appalled at those who wish to “fire” our President. This morning, on Facebook, a supposed “Friend” posted that Obama should be “fired”. I immediately wrote that I did not like that. It will be interesting to see if my statement is kept on that page. A deletion would not surprise me. I only keep such people as “Friends” due to the fact that not only did they ask me to be their “Friend”, but, I am who I am. I look at a few pages and cringe at the ignorance. It hurts me that people use religion to mask hatred. This must stop. Obviously, it won’t. This is unfortunate.

How can People live under a flag of Freedom and deny the Freedoms that make us Free? Odd. Very, very odd. I have made this query to all of my “Friends”. Will they answer? Probably not. Their silence can be profound. Their silence, as always, speaks volumes. I am beginning to turn up the volume of my personal voice.
