Burglary Reported At Nesconset Home Damaged After Fire: SCPD
The home had been boarded up following the fire last month.

NESCONSET, NY - A Nesconset home that was damaged in a fire last month was burglarized, according to Suffolk Police.
The Standish Place home was burglarized on Thursday after the fire on July 19 at about 10:54 a.m.
Someone stole camera equipment and jewelry from the home, which had been partially boarded up after the blaze.

During the fire, two cats were rescued from the burning home. Firefighters also managed to save all of the photos, photo albums, jewelry and memorabilia and turned them over to the family.
No injuries were reported.
