Bus Gets Lost Carrying Elementary School Students Home
The students ended up in St. James, miles away from the school in Nesconset.

A school bus carrying elementary school students got lost while taking kids back home on Tuesday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police.
Parents of Tackan Elementary School students began calling police reporting their children had not been dropped off at home following an after-school program at about 5:30 p.m.
The students were found on the bus in St. James, miles away from the Nesconset school.

The driver was lost and did not have a GPS or bus route, police said.
The bus was back at the school, with the children on it, by 6:30 p.m.
