(mostly) TRUE THINGS is a game wrapped in a storytelling show, featuring true stories told by comedy-wrangling, heartstrings-pulling storytellers from all walks of life.
All but one of the storytellers include carefully-crafted, subtle little lies into their story. In Act 2, the audience gets to question the storytellers - who can improvise their responses - then votes for the person they think told their story with no lies. It's a high-energy, often hilarious, emotion-packed and entertaining show. There are prizes involved, if you can believe a thing like that. (you totally can!)

Jezrie Marcano-Courtney started telling stories in 2015 to heal the pain on her heart. But then the most ex-traordinary thing happened, listeners connected with the pain (and joy) shared through her stories. Since then Jezrie has performed stories about her lived experience for many events and, at many venues. In February 2020 Jezrie produced, “Speak?Easy Presents: My Funny Valentine,” an in-person “love” themed storytelling event before the onslaught of the global pandemic.
