Car Reported Stolen In Lake Grove

LAKE GROVE, NY - A car was reported stolen from in front of a Lake Grove apartment last week.

A 2005 Mercury was stolen on June 25 from the apartment on Vivian Lane at about 3:15 a.m.

Afterwards, a homeless man was arrested in connection to the theft, according to Suffolk Police. Frank Beinlich, 33, was charged with fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, police said.

In addition, there were several incidents of cars being broken into and items stolen from inside them in the surrounding area.
