A Culture of Giving
Convergint Technologies Models Corporate Citizenship as Volunteers for Options for Community Living

On Friday, June 9, 2017, 36 employees from Convergint Technologies spent the day planting and painting at two homes owned and operated by Options for Community Living, Inc. Options owns and operates more than 150 residential properties across Nassau and Suffolk Counties that provide supportive housing for people with chronic illnesses and disabilities.
Convergint Technologies embraces a culture of giving that includes shutting down operations for a full work day in order to allow its employees to volunteer in the community. This is the fourth year that a team from Convergint has volunteered to help make substantial improvements to Options properties.
“The Convergint volunteers are fantastic!” said Yolanda Robano-Gross, Options executive director. “The volunteers consistently do incredible work year after year. We are thankful to have been chosen again as the recipient of Convergint’s model corporate citizenship initiative.”
