Design a Children's Library Card Contest

Calling all children under the age of 12...
You are invited to enter our "Design a Children's Library Card Contest".  The winning entry will become our new district-wide Children's Library Card.  All entries MUST be on the official entry form, available at the Children's Department of your local branch. 

Judges are looking for original and creative ideas, such as:

  • Illustrate an original slogan about books.
  • Draw something from a favorite book.
  • Illustrate why you love the Library.
  • Use your IMAGINATION!
Participants must have a valid Smithtown Special Library District card.
Entries must be received before 5:00 pm September 30, 2013.
