Donate Prom Dresses to Less Fortunate Girls
Do you have old, bulky prom dresses taking up space in your closet? Let them out to have a second dance and donate them to girls who cannot afford them.
, a community service group consisting of 12 local girls as a part of PROUDgirls on the MOVE!, plans community service events to help the community.
In the past, Team Dozen Divas has made 1,000 sandwiches for a soup kitchen, decorated a less fortunate family’s house for the holidays and donated gifts and .
. The event will allow girls in need from all over Long Island to be able to pick up a dress free of charge.

Many Long Island boutiques have shown support by donating dresses to the “Prom Dress Boutique” – the more dresses received, the bigger the event will be.
Please help out and donate a dress that you think deserves a second dance. Don’t just let your old dresses sit in your closet – give it to a girl who will be happy to wear it again. All dresses are needed, long or short, at any size. Please be sure that it is gently used.

You can drop off your dress at Daniel R. Bracciodieta & Associates, located at 312 Lake Avenue, across the street from the Saint James Post Office. Daniel R. Bracciodieta & Associates is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Please drop off dresses before March 24 if interested.
It is important to help make a girls dream come true and let her have an amazing night at prom, just like you did.
