“Life After High School”

Smithtown Youth Bureau Hosts “Life After High School” on May 1, 2012

The Smithtown Youth Bureau with the help of the Youth Advisory Board will be holding the third annual town-wide forum for students and their families entitled “Life After High School: Expert Tips to Help you Thrive” at Kings Park High School May 1, 2012 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and will take place in room 101.

This is an important event that will focus on the many different paths our youth have the option of taking after high school. Whether it be a two or four year college, technical school, or jumping right into the workforce we believe this forum will help these youth decide what best fits their needs. The panel of experts will also broaden the awareness of how life is different after high school. Topics will include health, academics, social relationships, and financial literacy.
