Mike's Hike 5K Run / 2.5K Family Walk In Memory of Michael Denaro

This April, Accompsett Elementary School suddenly lost one of our beloved teachers, Michael Denaro. Mr. Denaro not only taught with enthusiasm and dedication, but he invested much of his personal time to helping Accompsett’s students build memories that they could hold onto forever.  He was a member of the Accompsett Family, and he is missed by our entire staff, student body and community.  Accompsett Elementary has teamed up with Smithtown Children’s Foundation to organize a 5K Run / 2.5K Walk in Memory of Mike Denaro.  Our hope is to bring the community together to honor and remember Mike in a positive way.
