ST. JAMES LUTHERAN CHURCH TO HOLD PARENTING COURSE Do you ever wish you could be a better, more patient parent? Do you have a vision of what you would like to see your child become? Why not take time out of your busy schedule to learn some key skills that could help you become the best parent you can be? The time is now, while your children are still young and we want to help. St. James Lutheran Church will be holding a Parenting Course from August 6-10 from 9:00am to 12noon. Gather with other parents for coffee, tea, and donuts. Enjoy a relaxed, informal setting to discuss various parenting topics/concerns. Course format includes DVD clips of interviews, parents sharing their experiences, and parenting experts. Some of the topics covered include: Building Strong Foundations Meeting our Children's Needs Setting Boundaries Teaching Healthy Relationships Our Long Term Aim THE PARENTING COURSE - open to all parents whether you are a single parent, expecting your first child, or just feeling the parenting pressures of today.
