Gatto, Indelicato Selected to Play in RTC Rawlings Grand Slam Challenge
East and West varsity baseball teams are represented in the annual high school baseball all-star game.
Anthony Gatto of West and Alex Indelicato of East are Smithtown’s selections to play in this year’s RTC Rawlings Grand Slam Challenge, which will take place Friday at 7 p.m. at Farmingdale State College.
Suffolk County, which will be coached by Patchogue-Medford's Anthony Frascogna, leads the all-time series, 5-1.
This year some of Suffolk's top players will be Duke-bound Remy Janco from Hills West, Cameron Sorgie from Floyd, and Lindenhurst's Stephen Skon.
