Great Hollow 7th Graders Perform Revolutionary War 'Breakout'
Seventh-grade social studies students in Ms. McKee's class drew on their knowledge and performed research.
SMITHTOWN, NY — Seventh-grade social studies students in Ms. McKee’s class at Great Hollow Middle School recently participated in a virtual breakout learning activity focused on the Revolutionary War, according to the Smithtown Central School District.
Students were tasked with finding clues using information they learned in class and combining their knowledge with research activities. The Revolutionary War breakout was modified this year to include Google applications and also allowed students working from home to participate.
